Steffi's storied career keeps on getting new chapters. One of contemporary techno's most unwavering and visionary spirits, she's been DJing nearly non-stop since the mid-1990s – first in her hometown of Eindhoven, then in Amsterdam, and from 2007, in Berlin as a Berghain resident, pausing only briefly during the lull of the pandemic to focus on her album. Released in 2022, 'The Red Hunter' is a melodic, instrumental odyssey, a testament to the emotional power of wordless electronica. In the past 12 months, she's put out a remix version featuring artists like Barker and Violet and contributed to SONIC TRANSMUTATIONS, a compilation LP celebrating 31 years of Clone Records.
