Ron Trent

Ever since he started djing and producing in his very early teens, Ron Trent has left his footprint on dance music. This pioneer was crucial for the birth of deep house in Chicago’s underground music scene in the 1980s. He has been running the label Prescription records since the 1990s, which he originally co-founded and ran together with Chez Damier. A label that is widely regarded as one of the most influential (deep) house imprints of the period, including Ron Trent’s own ‘I Feel The Rhythm’. Still trotting the globe and with us from the early Dekmantel days, house veteran Trent is back with us for a live performance and DJ set in Amsterdamse Bos.
