Behind an impressive stack of analogue gear, Pariah and Blawan churn out powerful, improvised techno, favouring bass-heavy, swung, and kicking variations. Catching them live is a mesmerising affair – precise and mind-melting, their technological prowess is matched only by an unbreakable connection with the crowd. In addition to their Karenn project, the pair co-run the Voam label, a repository for seriously cool club rhythmics.
