By now, there’s a good chance you’ve heard the story of Kamma & Masalo. While Kamma (real name: Laura Kam) grew up in a family of house music mavens, Masalo van Meeteren’s Japanese-Dutch heritage shaped his obsession with global club sounds from a young age. Together, they rose through the ranks of Rush Hour and founded Brighter Days: a party series where colourful musicality and warm, never-ending grooves reign supreme. Having graced our festivals before—both together and solo—anyone who’s witnessed these turntable wizards can attest to the depth and breadth of their sound spectrum, spanning cosmic techno, heated Italo disco, and jagged acid, to name a few. If anything, these two tell a success story that deserves a primetime slot at our ’25 edition.
