Please welcome the legendary Miss Honey Dijon! A trailblazer in the global dance realm, Honey is celebrated not only for her mighty, hypnotising DJ sets, but also for her profound influence as a cultural icon and advocate for trans and queer minorities. Born and raised in Chicago, Honey was mentored by pioneers like Derrick Carter, who introduced her to jacking house and Detroit techno, as well as NYC’s Danny Tenaglia and Frankie Knuckles. Today, she consistently honours house music’s Black roots while blending them with contemporary sounds in her sets and productions, leading to collaborations with fellow Queens such as Beyoncé and Madonna. It would take an entire book to capture Honey’s full story, and we’re incredibly proud to have her doing what she does like no other at Dekmantel Festival ’25.
