Phillip Sollmann doesn’t do quick fixes. Under his stage name, Efdemin, the Berlin-based artist has made significant contributions to house and techno: creating thoughtful, psychedelic, and perfectly understated productions that balance richness and minimalism. As a DJ, Efdemin is renowned for allowing tracks to blend and breathe naturally, free from any sense of rush or hype—resulting in deep, detailed journeys. As a producer, he is closely associated with labels such as Dial Records—on which he released his self-titled debut album in 2007—and Ostgut Ton.
