Undoubtedly one of the biggest (and most pleasant) surprises of the past year: ‘Active Agents and House Boys’, the long-long-awaited debut record by British Murder Boys. Nearly two decades in the making, the album once again proved why Karl O’Conner and Anthony Child—better known as Regis and Surgeon—remain one of the most thrilling duos in techno today. A stripped-back homage to the ’90s warehouse sound, these veterans walk a unique tightrope between highly intelligent, sensitive production and an unabashed love for the grittiest clubscapes. Seven years after the last BMB live show at Dekmantel Festival, we’re proud to reunite with them once again.
