Over the past year, Jamie Roberts released another four-track EP, reminding us of his extraordinary skill. On ‘BouQ’, situated somewhere between garage-infected techno and pleasantly twisted pop, Blawan mixes heavily warped vocals with hulking drums, the fractious rhythms of an otherworldly mathematician, and his modular synth-based sound. We can’t wait to see it come to life at Dekmantel Festival ’25, where the wizard is back for another live performance.
